Facilities at PAF

The college library, containing over 20,000 books, is a vast collection of knowledge for students, catering to various academic and personal interests. It offers a diverse range of resources, including books, journals, and reference materials, fostering a culture of lifelong learning and intellectual exploration.

The Language Lab facility is a dynamic educational space that enhances language learning for all levels. It provides real-time feedback, meaningful conversations, and language exercises, with dedicated instructors providing personalized guidance to help learners reach their proficiency levels.

In order to keep pace with the technological advancements, especially with the boom in information technology, the College has two modern Computer Labs equipped with the latest computers. A computer lab is a dedicated space with technology for students’ academic and personal growth, facilitating research, learning, and creativity.

The Hobbies Club plays an important role in developing latent capabilities of the Pre-Cadets. To nourish their inner creativity, the following activities are carried out at the Hobbies Club: Woodwork, Science projects, Arts, Aeromodelling, Clay Modeling, Music, Dramatics, Calligraphy & Photography.

PAF College Sargodha provides counseling services to students, led by experienced psychologists, addressing various personality development issues. The counseling section helps students with adjustment, relationships, social problems, learning difficulties, teenage challenges, motivation, career, domestic issues, decision making, and stress management.

The College has a its own medical care facility (MI-Room) with Air Force doctors and staff, and boys are sent to PAF Hospital for specialized treatment. The hospital has specialists available round the clock. Parents/guardians must submit written permission for life-saving surgery, and in emergencies, the Principal has authority.

It Is mandatory for students to be in the prescribed dress in the College. They are not permitted to wear private clothes or shoes. The uniforms / shorts /tracksuits are provided to the students by the College free of cost.

A college magazine, published annually with English and Urdu sections featuring student-written articles and essays, is vital for nurturing student creativity, linguistic diversity, and critical thinking. It serves as a platform to showcase student talent, encourages research, and contributes to a sense of community. Such a publication also preserves the college’s cultural and intellectual heritage, making it an essential part of the educational experience.

Picnics are arranged regularly. The boys are taken to various recreational spots. Also, a camping 1 hiking trip is made annually to Lower Topa Murree by the senior most entry, Besides these excursions, various educational visits are also a part of the training schedule at the College.

The College Mess runs under the supervision of the Principal and Is managed by an officer (Mess Manager) available full time. Meals include breakfast, long break (tea / snacks / mik-shake), lunch and dinner. Seasonal fruit at lunch and sweet dishes at dinner are essential Items of a wholesome and balanced diet.

The College offers gliding training to senior students, providing essential skills in aeronautics, navigation, and decision-making for students. This training allows them to develop their flight proficiency and build the confidence necessary to excel in the challenging world. Ultimately, glider training serves as a stepping stone towards achieving their dream of serving in the PAF

The student horse riding club provides hands-on experience in horsemanship, teaching essential skills, and fostering discipline, responsibility, and camaraderie. It is an integral part of holistic student development, providing valuable life lessons.

In addition to the offered by the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Islamabad, a number of scholarships are offered to students by Chief of the Air Staff and other famous Sargodhian personalities. These scholarships are awarded to the deserving students for their outstanding performance in academics, parent’s income, parent’s occupation and family background after a stay of one year at the College.

With the notion that sports fields are instrumental in grooming young boys for their discipline and effective role in the future life, the College has made sports an essential and integral part of boys’ training. Afternoon games are compulsory for all the students. For this purpose, the College has the facilities of five lush green Football grounds, five Hockey fields, five Basketball courts, four Volleyball courts, three Handball fields, one Squash court, one Cricket Athletics field, Two Tennis court, one PT/Drill Square and one Gymnasium.

College have swimming pool facility. This facility helps the Pre-Cadets in many ways like, it instills water safety skills, which are vital for their personal safety and for potential future roles in emergency services. It enhances physical fitness, stamina, and discipline. Moreover, swimming also promotes teamwork and camaraderie among cadets, fostering a sense of unity and cooperation.
